Congratulations to League Board Members Eva Callahan & Bryan Hunt who have been awarded League Life Memberships.
Eva began her involvement with the League Board in 1990 as the results secretary. After a few years off Eva rejoined the Board in 2016 and is currently still a Board Member.
After 10 years in charge at the Forrest Football Netball Club Brian joined the League Board.
He has now been a valued Board Member for the past 11 years.

Congratulations to Elissa Rodger for playing her 300th A grade game for Irrewarra Beeac.
Elissa joins her long time team mate & friend Rachel Rodger and will become a league life member.
Congratulations to Irrewarra-Beeacs Rachel Rodger, who will play her 300th game of A Grade Netball in the CDFNL this weekend, which will qualify her for League Life Membership.
Rodger is a multiple League B&F winner, Club B&F winner, multiple Premiership winner, former coach and has been selected in multiple Team Of The Years.

Bruce Harwood’s has resigned as AFL Barwon Region General Manager, after just seven months of being appointed.
In a statement released by AFL Barwon, Mr Harwood has cited family reasons for his departure.

CDFNL Clubs celebrating 50 years of Netball across round 8, 9 & 10.
Here’s what they are doing to celebrate.
ROUND 8- Saturday 28th May
Birregurra & Forrest past & present players are encourage to go along to a ladies day held in round 8 against Western Eagles on Saturday 28th May. Kicking off at 12pm on the truck at the netball with nibbles provided, heading over to the footy to a marquee once the netball has finished.
Celebrate into the night with live music & roast beef rolls dinner from 6pm.
Colac Imperials are hosting an afternoon tea starting at 2pm alongside the start of the A grade match.
They will have a marquee with tea, coffee, cakes and slices for those past & present players.
Along with a photo board, memorabilia & uniforms on display. Colac Imperials host Lorne.
South Colac take on Apollo Bay in round 8 and will be hosting 50 years of Netball Ladies Day. Nibbles provided, free refreshments between 4-6pm for members & past players & live music from Ray Barrow.
Kicking off in the social rooms fro 4pm
Otway Districts are taking on Alvie & will be hosting an afternoon tea from 2pm at the Netball courts.
ROUND 9- Saturday 4th June
Apollo Bay are inviting all past players, coaches, umpires and members along to their round 9 clash on Saturday 4th June when they host Colac Imperials. Starting at 1pm with Drinks & nibbles.
Photos and memorabilia will be on display

Western Eagles will be holding an afternoon tea from 1pm, inviting along all past & present players from the Eagles, Irrewillipe, & Pirron Yallock . They will have raffles on the day & also have extended the invitation to their opposition on the day South Colac.
Round 10 Saturday 11th June
The Simpson Tigers will be hosting a luncheon on rd 10 when they take on Western Eagles.
All past & present players are invited along to attend.
They will have on show some old photographs, uniforms & trophies for a trip down memory lane!
South Colac’s Justin Mooney will play his 200th Senior Club game this weekend when South host Apollo Bay.
Mooney having previously played 60 Senior games with the Western Eagles he is well on his way to reaching the 300 games criteria to becoming a league life member.
Saturday 28th May South Colac will be hosting Apollo Bay in their first Cookie’s Clash, supporting Brain Cancer Awareness Month in conjunction with The Cookie Clan.
Peter “Cookie” Cook tragically lost his battle with Brain Cancer 18 months ago. A former South Colac Footballer.
There are plenty of activities for kids on the day, raffles and Beanies available for purchasing on the day.
