History
The Irrewarra-Beeac Football Netball Club was established in 1986.
The Club came about after an amalgamation of the Irrewarra Football Club and The Beeac Football Club.
These 2 clubs were both struggling to obtain players, members & committee representatives.
Geographically the clubs were within 10 km of each other so it was a no brainer to amalgamate.
Football
Beeac had won 4 Senior Football Grand Finals between 1910 & 1956.
Irrewarra had won 5 Senior Football Grand Finals between 1927 and 1972.
Whereas Irrewarra-Beeac have to this date won 3 Senior Football Grand Finals in 2008, 2009 & 2010.
Our Junior Football sides have gone onto win 7 Grand Finals between them.
Netball
On the Netball side of things the Irrewarra-Beeac A Grade girls have won a total of 12 Premierships in the 15 year period between 1997 and 2011.
They were the most successful side in a long time.
Between the Under 13’s and up to the B Grade sides they have amassed a total of another 13 Premierships.
Most of these girls have all played their entire Junior & Senior career with the same club and still remain involved with Irrewarra-Beeac to this day watching their own families aspire for Premiership glory.
Life Members
Beeac brought along 11 Life Members and Irrewarra came along with 10 Life Members. Over the years Irrewarra-Beeac have added another 39 Life Members to make it a long list.
Today
The Irrewarra-Beeac Football Netball Club is a Strong Family focused club that prides itself on developing and supporting our footballers and netballers to be the best they can possibly be.
