The Simpson Football Netball Club, founded in 1965, has been a proud member of the Colac & District Football Netball League (CDFNL) since 2003. The club is based in the rural Victorian town of Simpson, playing home games at the Simpson Recreation Reserve, located approximately 35 km southwest of Colac.

Known as the Tigers, Simpson teams take the field in black guernseys with a bold yellow sash. The club has a proud football history, having claimed 12 senior premierships across various leagues since its establishment, including back-to-back CDFNL premierships in 2014 and 2015.

On the netball court, the A Grade team made history by winning their first CDFNL premiership in 2018, a milestone moment for the club.

Simpson FNC boasts a strong membership base of over 250 players, supporters, and volunteers, with committed backing from local businesses and community members. The club continues to serve as a vital social and sporting hub for Simpson and the surrounding districts.

In 2025, the club’s leadership group is as follows:

  • ⚫️ Club President: Bree Jones
  • 🟡 Netball President: Paige Salmon
  • ⚫️ Club Vice President: Teddy McVilly
  • 🟡 Club Junior Vice President: Brad Smith
  • ⚫️ Secretary: April Crole
  • 🟡 Treasurer: Ebonie McVilly

Damien Pemberton steps into the role of Senior Playing Coach for the men’s football side in 2025. On the netball front, Emily Duynhoven will continue as the A Grade Netball Coach, providing stability and leadership as the Tigers look to build on recent seasons.

With strong leadership across both football and netball departments, Simpson FNC is well-positioned for another competitive and community-driven year in the CDFNL.
